Preschool Play Date

We have little angels. Some of our angels need to go to day care or someone’s house everyday since their parents work. Some have the advantage of going to their grandparents’ house and get to spend some time with them and not attend day care. Then, we have those little angels that do not attend a day care program, but still go to school through a Parent’s Day Out program somewhere. At FUMC we have a special program for those little angels that are walking 18-months old all the way through 5 years old that are not in Kindergarten just yet. That program is PreSchool Play Date. We do this play date at no charge, and the little angel does not have to be a member of FUMC to attend. Second Wednesday of each month from 11am-12 noon. We will be meeting on the 2nd floor of the Education wing in Room 221.

This past year we have done tons of different activities. We always have tons of fun, but it would be more fun if we had more little angels coming. Some of the activities include having a picnic inside the gym, playing with balls, coloring wooden snowflakes and making paper snowflakes, making bugs and bug cookies and bug pictures. We also got a peek at Vacation Bible School by coloring a hot air balloon, playing with little plastic balls inside a parachute, along with one of the lessons from the VBS book. On the last play date we read a book from the Dr. Seuss collection and then made a fruit drink called PINK, YINK, INK DRINK and that was tons of fun.

So, if you know a little angel that is the age of walking 18 months up to 5 years old that is not in Kindergarten, please put our next scheduled Preschool Play Date on your calendar and theirs. All that is required is that you come on Wednesday at 11 AM to have some fun. We ask that the adult or parent We're Making These for Mommy!

Bring your child, grandchild or any child you happen to be watching (bring them all) and come to this Fun, Free Event. Don't forget to go by the bulletin board by the library to see all the fun we have.
