The following are photographs taken at the Sunday evening fun
event. We hope you enjoy them. The children's events were quite
popular and very entertaining.

The Shin-Dig was supposed to happen here on the West lawn,
but rain forced us indoors. We had just as much fun and a GREAT
musical program. |
We advertised the 3 F's; Fun, Food and
Fellowship. |
Walter hands Susan a balloon for the
decorations from where they grow them down in the balloon
cellar. |
Folks showed off there patriotic flair with
special crafts and decorations. |
Balloon Trees were planted in the foyer. |
The tables were decorated with care. |
Then the patriotic freedom fighters came to
eat and have fun |
... and they kept coming! |
The crowd dined on fine cuisine; hot dogs,
fried chicken and hand-cranked ice cream. |
What else would you serve at a picnic? |
Some people waited in line so long, they fell
asleep. |
Some couldn't wait to get started decorating
cupcakes. |
It put a twinkle in their eyes. |
It took concentration. |
In some cases, adult supervision was
required. |
The kids had a great time! |
There were those decorating with
finesse. |
... and there were those who got a
helping hand. |
A spoonful of this and dash of that ... |
A shared cupcake for Old Glory and Young
Glory. |
Some adventurous souls made a cupcake
AND painted their face. |
"Hey, Kids wait! I have the recipe
book!" |
That is just too cute. |
Becky's the oldest kid at the picnic. |
