I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me

Team Impact of Coppell, Texas Gives Dynamite Message at FUMC

Members of TEAM IMPACT, some of the strongest men on the planet, delivered a strong message at First United Methodist Church on Friday August 31 through Sunday September 2. TEAM IMPACT demonstrated astounding feats of strength such as shattering five feet of concrete with one blow of an elbow, bending 1/2" steel bars into pretzels and snapping baseball bats in half with their bare hands. TEAM IMPACT members captured the attention of both young and old to share an inspiring message of HOPE.

Team Impact Message; Phil 4:13
Team Impact's Credo.

Team Impact truly believes that God desires to use every local body of believers to extend His Kingdom. It is this belief that leads us into communities rural and urban, partnering with Bible believing churches of every size, shape and makeup. Team Impact is ideally suited for churches looking for creative evangelism but unwilling to water down the message of the cross; Jeff Neal gives the messagea church focused on reaching all generations and people from every walk of life. As well, Team Impact sees tremendous results in reaching entire cities and communities through the combined efforts of several churches or ministerial alliances. Whether your church is large or small, you have the potential of reaching your entire community for Jesus Christ.

Jeff Neal's Feats of StrengthThe church and community prepared well for the team and the delivery of the message. Mailers were sent out. There were press releases and announcements made. The city of Irving got very excited about Team Impact coming to our church and to Irving. Mayor Herb Gears made an historic proclamation that August 31 - September 2 of 2007 in Irving would be named TEAM IMPACT DAYS. The ICTN television network of Irving did a special segment on the About Towne TV program dedicated to TEAM IMPACT DAYS and the impact to our schools and community. Coordinators Deb Bellew and Connie Riley and several others orchestrated TEAM IMPACT assemblies at nine local schools presenting local children the positive message the team delivers in a manner that got their attention.

Each night from Friday through Sunday, TEAM IMPACT thoroughly grasped each attendees attention. All were thoroughly engulfed in the sights and sounds of super human strength, the excitement and wonder of Jeff Neal's apt story telling and his sincere message - straight from the heart. But it wasn't just from his heart; it was also from the heart of Jesus Christ. TEAM IMPACT is carrying on His work after Him as He has commanded us to do. Bringing the message of salvation to the lost, the hurting and those who have never made a decision for Christ.

Each night there at minimum 20 to 40 decisions made! God at work and angels singing in the heavens! FUMC had counselors to help with the new Christians and then guide them on their next steps. What a wonderful and happy time in the life of our church, our community and our city. No one can guess what the impact will be from the message delivered at the nine schools, but you can be sure, with the Holy Spirit involved nothing but good can come of it. Let us pray for our church, our community and city, our school children and our new Christians! Never stop praying!!

This email was received from the principal at Bowie Middle School:

“Just a quick note to say ‘Thanks’ again for bringing in TEAM IMPACT this past Thursday (August 30). It think it was a very clear message to our 6th graders that what they do now has everything to do with their future. Thanks to Connie Riley and Deborah Bellew for working this out. Most especially, please extend my thanks to First Untied Methodist Church for sponsoring the assembly. I appreciate the community support that you all have extended.”

Mr. Joe Moreno, Principal, Bowie Middle School
