The church is a community of all true believers under the Lordship of Christ. It is the redeemed and redeeming fellowship in which the Word of God is preached by persons divinely called, and the sacraments are duly administered according to Christ’s own appointment.

NTC Reporter On-line

Each month, UMC.org publishes six critical reviews of recently released compact discs. A critical review is one in which the writer describes and evaluates the piece of music and supports this evaluation with clear evidence. Every two weeks, three new reviews are published.

Though UMC.org reviews music of all genres, titles are chosen based on their message. Meaning, we will only review music that challenges its listeners to ponder significant issues facing us as Christians.

Once a month, UMC.org, the official online ministry of The United Methodist Church, publishes a critical review of a recently released book of fiction or non-fiction. What makes Book Reviews unique is that it pays special attention to the spiritual and “human condition” elements of the narrative.

UMC.org feels a responsibility to only highlight books that we believe are worth your time to read, and spend your money on. The intent of Book Reviews is not simply to promote the book, but to encourage small group interaction and discussion.

Along with each review comes a list of study questions and activities, providing a basis for further examination.

The Interpreter On-line.

The Interpreter is the official magazine for United Methodist laity and clergy who are actively involved in their local churches. It is published eight (8) times a year. For 44 years, Interpreter has been the vehicle through which local churches share ideas and learn about the church's national and international programs and ministries.

The Reporter Interactive Portal - Reporter Interactive is the digital religion news publication of UMR Communications Inc., 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas TX 75212, (800) 947-0207. The site provides five-day-a-week updates on religion news, especially of interest to Protestant denominations.

North Texas UM Reporter

North Texas United Methodist Reporter is a weekly publication of the North Texas Conference Commission on Communications.
