 Keynote
Speaker: Rev. Bert Jones, Current President of Go International.
Bert Jones is the President and CEO of Go InterNational located in Wilmore, Kentucky. GO is a world-wide mission ministry with a focus on facilitating short term teams through long term partnerships. Also, church planting, evangelism, leadership training, and ministry to children in crisis around the globe are primary focuses. Since 1969, GO has been forming strategic partnerships with vibrant local ministries around the world to meet the needs of the poor and the lost. We look forward to his leadership at our Missions Conference 2009. |

| We will also welcome Paul Cox, Jim Beise, Morgan Stephens, C.W. Faulkner, and others including the United Methodist Children’s home in San Antonio. On Sunday, April 26, we will collect Faith Promise pledge cards for the period of May 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010. We encourage everyone at First Methodist to be a part of ‘Faith Promise’. Simply ask the Lord to bless you so you can give an offering over and above your tithe so the “Word of the Lord” can spread throughout the whole world. He will most certainly hear your prayers. | ||||
