Pastor's Message

 

Dear Church Family,

                  What a summer we are having! With Annual Conference, vacation, Peru Mission Trip and Vacation Bible School, I am a bit dazed. Not to mention the past several Sunday evenings with our Gospel nights that saw nearly two hundred people enjoying the Shady Grove Ramblers this past week. And we are not finished yet! The first week in August we will have First Methodist night at Spring Creek Barbeque with 25% of the proceeds going to our mission projects, along with the beginning of our Music Camp featuring the youth musical, I Believe.  

As fall approaches, September will be kicked off with Grandparents Super Sunday. The date will be September 12^th so mark your calendars now and begin inviting grandchildren and grandparents, depending on your station in life.

Remember this Sunday we will be honoring Connie Fredd and her 19 years of service to First United Methodist Church. I know you will want to come by and let Connie know how much she is loved and how greatly she will be missed.
