In 2019 we said goodbye to a wonderful Godly man; Jeff Baker.  When Jeff and his wife, Connie, joined First United Methodist Irving, Pete McNabb, a church member at that time, visited them at home.  Pete encouraged Jeff to read the Bible in a year.  Jeff made the commitment in January and finished in September; he was proud of that accomplishment.  Jeff loved his church and church family so very much – and in turn, he felt encouraged and loved by everyone there.

We honor Jeff this year with a Bible challenge for us all.  Read the New Testament in one year.
